The Little Things In Life

What are the little things in your life? Might it be shaving the truth just a fraction to get out of a tight spot? How about fudging on your taxes for the sake of getting a little bigger tax return. How about flirting with your boss or secretary with the intention that it would never go beyond that and really just because you can?

Jesus said in Luke 16, "He that is trustworthy with very little can be trustworthy with very much, but he that is dishonest with very little will be dishonest with very much." Solomon wrote, "it is the little foxes that ruin the vineyard." Little things can be just as distructive as big things. While we would never openly cheat, steal and lie, we often times let little deceptions into our lifestyles regularly.

It is these little deceptions that flaw our character and our integrity. Paul wrote in I Thessalonians 5:23, "May God himself, the God of peace, sanctify you through and through. May your whole spirit, soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. The one who calls you is faithful and he will do it." Think about it!
